Paige Elizabeth Allen is a writer, researcher, and theatremaker based in NYC.

She loves working with words, uncovering stories and histories, and spinning old yarns into new adventures.

Paige holds an MSt in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, with Distinction, from the University of Oxford. She earned her BA in English, magna cum laude, at Princeton University and minored in Theater, Music Theater, Creative Writing, and Humanistic Studies. Her research interests include Gothic and speculative fiction/film, historical conceptions of illness, musical theatre, and monsters (from ancient sea creatures to modern vampires).

Paige is passionate about the arts, particularly creative writing and theatre. She strives to help bring artistic works into the world and to new audiences — as a creator, collaborator, producer, administrator.

She is an experienced writer and editor. Trained in writing pedagogy at Princeton’s Writing Center, Paige helped undergraduate and graduate students across disciplines in all stages of the writing process. With expertise in creative, journalistic, and academic writing, and experience working for publications from daily newspapers to research journals, Paige takes pride in her ability to tailor content to different audiences. In all writing, she values clear structure, persuasive argumentation, and engaging style.

Paige has also managed events and publicity for various organizations. Working and learning in fast-paced environments, she has honed her ability to manage deadlines, collaborate with a team, deliver under pressure, communicate effectively, develop a brand, and adapt to new environments and tasks.
